Matt Borrelli is a Partner at Osterwald Rathbone & Partners in London. He is a highly experienced consultant and is responsible for business development activities across EMEA, Asia-Pac and the Americas. In this role, Matt works closely with the leadership and deals directly with many of the firm’s largest clients as well as prominent law firms across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

As a key member of the management team, he collaborates with each of the partners to develop and execute the marketing strategy. Prior to joining Osterwald Rathbone & Partners, Matt led business development efforts at professional services firms, including Ernst & Young’s Fraud Investigation & Disputes practice and Navigant’s Global Construction Practice. Matt has served leading organisations in Europe, Middle East, Africa, South America and Asia over a period of more than 20 years.

His experience includes management consulting in international construction, energy & infrastructure projects and commercial transactions, allowing him to bridge the worlds of construction, finance, strategy and operations. As a result, Matt has extensive international experience, having spent more than ten years living and working overseas in management positions at leading forensics, litigation and consulting firms. In addition to his work experience in Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul, Rio and Dubai, Matt has significant operational experience in Africa, having worked for De Beers in South Africa, Guinea and Angola.

A British national, Matt also served as a helicopter flying instructor with the Royal Navy, speaks fluent Portuguese, conversational French and Italian.
